Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen to Visit Logan

30 October 2014

Jamie’s Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen will be visiting Logan Central in December and January this year, being stationed in the car park of Harmony on Carmody Café at the corner of Carmody Street and Ewing Road.

Local Federal Member for Rankin, Jim Chalmers said “It’s a great coup for our area to have Jamie’s Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen visit to teach locals how to cook healthy food.”

“Gail Ker and the team at ACCESS Community Services Ltd have been a real driving force behind bringing the Mobile Kitchen to Logan.”

Jamie’s Ministry of Food aims to educate, empower and inspire people to love and enjoy good food, through learning how to cook.

The Mobile Kitchen will be open six days per week and will offer five-week courses for just $10 per class or $5 concession.

The visit is being supported by The Good Foundation, The Good Guys, the Queensland Government Healthier. Happier. Program and ACCESS Community Services Ltd.
